Star Search Back For EstrellaTV

BURBANK, CALIF. — EstrellaTV, the Hispanic broadcast TV network owned by Estrella Media (the former LBI Media), has resumed production of its long-running talent search show Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento — with new COVID-19 safety protocols.

Following California’s recently issued COVID-19 Best Practices Guide for Television and Film and the CDC’s recommended safety guidelines, the network has established” rigorous sanitary, social distancing and safety measures” to resume production of the reality series.

“The show’s new closed set has been designed with safety as a top priority, and production staff is limited to essential personnel only,” Estrella Media says.

w quarter final episodes started airing Thursday, July 8, and will continue airing M-F 8P/7P C on EstrellaTV.

Tengo Talento, Mucho Talento airs in the 8pm Eastern/Pacific time slot; quarter-final episodes began on July 8.

“Ensuring the safety of our crew, talent and contestants has always been of utmost importance to EstrellaTV,” said Ivan Stoilkovich, EVP of Television Programming at EstrellaTV. “We are excited to get back on the air with new episodes and to move forward with our quarter finals, which we had to put on hiatus due to the unprecedented pandemic that has affected us all.
