EstrellaTV, the multiplatform Spanish-language network owned by MediaCo Holding Inc., is bringing back a musical reality competition that captivated audiences across the U.S. and Puerto Rico more than two decades ago.
The return of Objetivo Fama was confirmed on Tuesday (7/22). with its new season scheduled to debut in the U.S. on August 2. Weekly primetime episodes airing for 14 consecutive weeks on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
It is an exclusive U.S. distribution deal for the “revival” of Objetivo Fama, which aired for six years from January 2004 through May 2009 in Puerto Rico via WLII-11 in San Juan and in the mainland on TeleFutura (now UniMás).
The big return for the show will see it now on EstrellaTV’s national broadcast network, on its EstrellaTV FAST (free ad-supported streaming television) channel and live and on-demand through the EstrellaTV app. EstrellaTV will also amplify the series across its social media platforms.

Objetivo Fama introduces a reimagined format that blends high-stakes musical performance with an immersive reality experience. Twenty aspiring artists will live together and train in a custom-built House Studio, where their personal and artistic transformations will unfold before viewers’ eyes — filmed 24/7.
