Adam R Jacobson is a 20-year veteran journalist who began his career at HISPANIC Magazine, working from its former Washington, D.C. headquarters. He assisted in the launch of Latina Style magazine as a writer and editor, served as Publications Editor for the American Translators Association and spent more than a decade as a senior reporter and editor at music industry trade journal Radio and Records from its Los Angeles headquarters.
He next joined marketing and advertising industry news organization Hispanic Market Weekly, where he ascended to Senior Associate Editor. In January 2010, Jacobson launched his consultancy, combining his knowledge, skills, talent and passion from his experiences to assist companies in attaining consumer growth.
On August 8, 2016, Jacobson accepted the full-time role of Editor-in-Chief for Radio + Television Business Report, a daily publication owned by Streamline Publishing of Boca Raton, Fla. He today continues in this role, while operating The Adam R Jacobson Consultancy with the express purpose of producing the Hispanic Market Overview reports and select on-demand reports.
Jacobson is currently working with the Association of National Advertisers’ AIMM group on its marketing and PR efforts.
Other roles since the launch of the Adam R Jacobson Consultancy include serving as a Campaign Specialist for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Southern Florida chapter, working on the Man & Woman of the Year campaign and consulting the Team In Training campaign on public relations, marketing and press efforts.
Adam R Jacobson has also appeared as an on-air personality as “Jake Adams” on WLYF “101.5 Lite FM” in Miami.
