Marco Antonio Gonzalez, most recently the VP of Public Relations and Corporate Affairs at Estrella Media, has launched his own full-service bilingual public relations and communications firm.
Introducing MaGo! PR, a play on words on Gonzalez’s full name Marco Antonio Gonzalez and the Spanish-language word “mago,” which translates to wizard in English.
Gonzalez’s business will focus on entertainment publicity, executive corporate communications, issues management, employee communications, community relations, DEI and media training, social media, and English/Spanish translation services in both general and Hispanic markets.
He will retain his role as Board Chair of the Latino Equality Alliance, a social justice and Hispanic LGBTQ+ advocacy nonprofit in the Boyle Heights section of Los Angeles.
Gonzalez previously served in various communications capacities at companies such as Herbalife Nutrition, Univision Music Group, and The United Way of Greater Los Angeles.
“After 20+ years of working as an in-house PR professional, I have opted to branch out and build my own PR practice in Los Angeles,” he shares. “My expertise focuses on developing comprehensive communications strategies from the ground up and building successful reputation management plans for brands and entertainment public figures. It’s a completely new world and a new journey I am finally embracing, and clearly, a step in the right direction in my professional growth and evolution.”
