A VP For Multiplatform Sales Arrives at LatiNation

LatiNation Media, the multi-platform media company offering bilingual content to bicultural, younger U.S. Hispanic consumers, is welcoming a new multiplatform sales executive.

Taking the role is José Suarez. He is inbound from Hispanic Exchange, where he was Vice President of Sales and Brand Partnerships.

Suarez reports to SVP of Sales Gisella Fu-Ripp, working from New York.

In his new role, Suarez will oversee and drive LatiNation Media’s sales, marketing, strategic partnerships, and new business development across all of its content platforms. “He will expand LatiNation Media’s marketplace presence and will lead a dedicated sales team creating opportunities for brands to connect with the vital U.S. Latino audience,” the company said in a statement released June 24.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jose Suarez to the LatiNation Media family,” Fu-Ripp said. “José brings impeccable credentials as a leading executive in multicultural sales and is the perfect fit to help our company accelerate its revenue growth.”

From September 2019 through February 2023, Suarez was at Univision Communications, serving as a Digital Account Executive. For 3 1/2 years before that, he was at Urban One, serving as Director of Digital Sales.

From January 2015-April 2016, Suarez was an AE focused on National Digital Advertisements for Petsmart.
