TelevisaUnivision audio platform Uforia is expanding its podcast content exclusively for Hispanic audiences across the U.S. through a new partnership with Latin World Digital, a sister company of Hispanic talent management, marketing, licensing, entertainment consulting and multi-platform production firm Latin World Entertainment (LatinWE) — founded by global star Sofia Vergara and media executive Luis Balaguer.
The collaboration “underscores Uforia’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge podcast offerings tailored for Hispanic listeners,” the company claims. “Teaming up with Latin World Digital, Uforia aims to produce captivating podcasts focusing on in-culture and in-language narratives, designed to engage the next generation of Hispanic audiences.”
Leading the initiative is Hernan Garcia, Director of Podcasts Development for Uforia at TelevisaUnivision. “By leveraging Latin World Digital’s expertise and digital-native talent roster, Uforia Podcasts aims to create compelling shows that not only cater to existing audiences but also attract new listeners from Generation Z,” he said.
Lina Caceres, CEO of Latin World Digital, added, “This partnership represents the commitment to offering quality, inspiring and entertaining content with some of the top Hispanic multiplatform stars in the industry. Podcasts have become an essential part of the Hispanic community on how they access information and entertainment, and we found the perfect ally to provide quality content to the second biggest community in this country.”
Among the podcast titles and multiplatform stars slated for release this year are Human of Interest Season 2 with Calle y Poché, Indomables (Indomitables) with Regina Carrot, Level Up with Mario Ruiz, Queen with Amanda Dudamel, Next with Katy Esquivel, Sebas Villalobos and Monse Medina, It’s Complicated with Xime Ponch, and Wellness 101: Myths and Facts with Issa Vasquez, The Power To Be Healthy with Doctor Bayter.
Uforia professes to be the top Spanish-language podcast network in the U.S.
