‘Telemundo Utah’ Names A New News Director

Gilberto Dorrego will take the role, debuting April 1 at 5pm, for KTAZ-39 in Phoenix and simulcast partner KHRR-40 in Tucson, which are part of NBCUniversal Local’s Telemundo Station Group.
For nearly 18 years, Spaniards have enjoyed a popular entertainment-filled variety and chat show hosted by Pablo Motos. Now, U.S. audiences will have the biggest access point yet to El Hormiguero — a prime-time slot on the Estrella TV network.
“By becoming the exclusive seller of Nuestra Vision’s content for the general market (cable and broadcast signals), and bundling Nuestra Vision with Adsmovil’s current offering, the company continues to deliver on its mission of reaching Hispanics across countries of origin, languages, generations, homes, and screens without compromising authenticity,” Adsmovil notes.
The March 10 telecast will see the Hawks match against the New Orleans Pelicans air on WKTB-TV in Spanish.
English-language coverage will be seen on WPCH-17 “Peachtree TV.”
