Latino Media Network (LMN) has launched a new radio station on the AM dial in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas.
KYWW-AM 1530 is now “Puro Tejano,” which LMN Texas Regional General Manager Vicky Guerrero says is “a revival of the Valley’s deep-rooted Tejano music culture.”
Music is focused on classic Tejano icons including Selena, Emilio Navaira, La Mafia, and Mazz, while also serving as a platform for rising stars including Siggno, Solido, and Grupo Frontera.
Listeners can expect exclusive on-air giveaways, live community events, and concerts in partnership with local Tejano artists and venues, enhancing community engagement throughout the region, LMN says.
